This workshop is to be an overview of the history of sound art with an emphasis on circuit bending through experimentation and application. Throughout the 3-day workshop student will gain an understanding of ways sound has influenced contemporary art. The workshop will focus mainly on exploring circuits to create alternate sounds to which they will incorporate into a final product. The workshop promotes the integration of video and sculpture as a way to translate information.
