Patricia Fuller will be presenting examples of art works commissioned for indoor and outdoor spaces on the MIT campus, focusing on the past ten years. MIT's public art collection includes over 70 works of art, many commissioned through an ongoing Percent-for-Art policy instituted in 1965.

Recent commissions include works by Matthew Ritchie, Jorge Pardo, Sarah Sze, Dan Graham, Lawrence Wiener, Cai Guo Qiang, Anish Kapoor and Martin Boyce. We will also will also be talking about our process, which emphasizes collaboration between the artist and the architect, as well as participation by the user population.
