FIRE/SKY/WATER...Reproduction
Artist / curator Carlos Rigau organized this project and designed an environment to showcase six short video works. From the main gallery of the second floor, a doorway leads to a dark space illuminated by neon rectangles. Upon entering the room, visitors see videos playing and hear sounds and voices as they find places to sit or grip bar on which to lean and watch the screen.
FIRE/SKY/WATER...Reproduction is a curated exhibition of single channel video works that engage in the aforementioned tropes. The exhibiting artists are processing their primal understanding of the world through the use of video.
