Rosa de la Cruz and Ibett Yanez will create a visual presentation for the MOCA Shakers and their guests that will focus specifically on the female body and its central role throughout the history of art. Continuing from the previous presentation (June 29th), we will look into the Impressionist movement and finish with Contemporary Art. Art has always been an integral part of the fabric of society. Ever since the prehistoric era, art has been present as a form of documentation and language. This will be a unique and engaging way of looking at art for the MOCA Shakers. Preceding the lecture, the Shakers will enjoy a tour of the collection, complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

A dynamic group for young professionals interested in networking, socializing, philanthropy and cultural engagement, MOCA Shakers enjoy a full schedule of sponsored events at Miami hotspots centered on cultural happenings, contemporary art, and exhibition openings. MOCA provides Shaker members the opportunity to contribute to and learn from the contemporary art world and to enjoy the best of Miami's vibrant cultural scene through exclusive programs and events. Shaker events have become the ultimate destination for the best and brightest of young Miami, and the Shakers continue to contribute to the identity and evolution of MOCA.
