Ping Pond Table, 1999, is connected to this idea of a new space, a new possible space. It has the shape of a lotus flower, referencing Buddhism or Indian culture. "Games are expressions of how we believe the universe works in different cultures. Every game has a connection to how we conceive nature and landscape, how we order and we structure reality. I am interested in the in-between space, which is the same as the in-between of the photograph and the spectator."
