Kathryn Andrews was born in Mobile, Alabama, in 1973 and lives and works in Los Angeles, California; she holds a BFA from Duke University as well as an MFA from the Art Center College of Design. Her practice incorporates installation, sculpture, and found materials, raising questions of positioning and materiality. Andrews will discuss her latest works where she investigates the potentials of the readymade.

She has exhibited at David Kordansky Gallery, L.A.; Galerie Christian Nagel, Berlin; Rivington Arms, New York, as well as The Rubell Family Collection, Miami; Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami and Greater L.A. Show, New York.
